I guess I’ll be the first to say I didn’t take the college/university route. I’m currently on my second year out of high school, doing a lot of volunteer work and networking. For me, this was the best route. I’ve learnt more than I would in a classroom. I’ve gotten my hands dirty to find opportunities both on a small scale and up to working for higher level bands. I’ve done everything from promo to merch and roadie. I don’t regret “skipping” college. Though this is what works for me |
