I”m excited to announce that out WATK Music Mentor for the month of January is photographer, Tom Falcone!
I’ve known Tom for less than an year, so I was surprised to discover all of his accomplishments. Falcone first started shooting in 2008, doing his first work with bands such as Valencia and Envy On The Coast. Falcone continued to do live shots, network, and shoot promos for local bands. Deeper into the year, Falcone began to tour, as he worked with Anarbor on the Take Action Tour at just 16 years old. Later, Falcone found more touring experience doing stints with There For Tomorrow on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour, and We Are The In Crowd on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour. Tom’s first client came in 2009 when he shot for Glamour Kills’s Lookbook, and he continues to work with bands such as The Summer Set, Hey Monday, and Mayday Parade. Falcone is now 19 years old, and he attends the New England School of Photography. Falcone will also be on the road, and available for any shoots world-wide.
If you are unfamiliar with how the WATK Music Mentor Series works, here’s a recap:
1. Since Tom is our mentor for January, this means that you can submit any questions you would like Tom to answer (it can be regarding anything music, Warped, photography related ect) in the ask forum of the homepage.
2. After a couple of weeks, I will select a chunk of good questions to email Tom.
3. Tom will answer all of your questions, and email his answers back to me.
4. Then I will post his answers to the homepage at the end of the month!
